Build a relationship before graduation
Companies that are most effective at college recruiting use Jobster to start a dialogue not just with this year's graduates, but also with students graduating two and three years in the future.Get prepared

  • Identify which colleges and universities you want to target. Does your company have existing contacts at those schools, such as a career center administrator? You will want to include them in a targeted message.
  • Research websites or newsletters that serve the students at your target colleges.
  • Identify company employees who are alumni of your target schools.
  • Do you have a college internship program today? If so, be sure to include those students in a campaign message. Ask them to forward network invitations to other students they know.
  • Don't overdo it with slang or hip lingo, but do write your messages to be conversational and accessible to college students. Younger generations of professionals are very receptive to Jobster.
